Creating an Account

Signing up

1. Go to dashboard.deutero.ai. If you are not signed in you land on the login page.
2. Choose one:
3. Email — type your address and click Continue with email. The page then says "Check your email".
4. Continue with Google or Continue with GitHub.
5. For email, open the message from [email protected] (subject: "Your login request to Deutero") and click Log in. The link expires in one hour and works once.
6. What happens next depends on your address:
7. New to Deutero — you are taken to Create Your Organization. Enter an Organization Name (required) and optionally a slug, then click Create Organization.
8. Already a member of an organization — you go straight to the dashboard.
9. Invited to someone else's organization — you are offered that organization to join.

Sessions last 7 days and renew while you are active.

After the first sign-in

A new organization starts on the Hobby plan with 15 credits, which reset monthly. The dashboard opens a 7-step Setup Guide:

1. Create your first project
2. Set up your first study
3. Add interview questions
4. Simulate an interview (needs a paid plan)
5. Try the interview yourself
6. Share your interview link
7. Run thematic analysis

You can skip any step, or dismiss the whole thing with I'll explore on my own. The banner stays at the top of each page until it is finished or dismissed.

Fill in your researcher profile

Open Profile from the account menu. The Research Contact Information section is shown to participants, so complete it before you recruit:

• Researcher Name — as participants should see it
• Position/Title
• Contact Email
• Contact Phone (optional)

The Private Information block (first name, last name, account email) is for your account only.

Inviting your team

Organization owners invite colleagues from Organization in the account menu — see Organization Management. Team size depends on your plan: Pro includes up to 10 members.

Troubleshooting

• No email — check spam, confirm the address, and request another link. Each new request invalidates the previous one.
• "Login Error" after clicking the link — the link was already used or has expired. Request a fresh one and open it in the same browser.
• Stuck on the login page — JavaScript and cookies must be enabled; the Stytch widget loads from the browser.
• Wrong organization — sign out and back in; if your address belongs to several organizations, pick from the list shown.
